Located in downtown Los Altos, Smythe & Cross is a fresh approach to the traditional jewelry store.

Our Team
Khatchig Jingirian Jr.
Khatchig has been involved in the design and manufacturing of jewelry from a very early age, having grown up in
his parents’ manufacturing/import company. Eventually, Khatchig would take over the family business, but his true
passion was to be behind the counter helping people select the perfect piece of jewelry. This passion was the drive
for Khatchig to open a store of his own – Smythe & Cross. Khatchig’s industry experience is coupled
with a BA degree in International Business from Cal State Fresno, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global
Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Pamela Purcell Smith
With over 30 years of experience in the jewelry industry, Pamela Smith has joined Smythe & Cross as
the company’s Vice President. Pamela has managed some of the finest jewelry salons in California, including those
of Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, and was most recently the manager of Gleim the Jeweler in Los Altos. With
an eye for color and quality, she is responsible for compiling the numerous collections on display at Smythe & Cross.
Not only does Pamela select beautiful items for the store, but she is also a specialist in locating and acquiring unique
and hard-to-find items.
